How the integration works
- Your app signs the user in. Keep your existing authentication and sessions.
- Your server identifies the user. Send the stable external user ID your app already owns.
- BusinessMode checks company access. Your backend sends the user ID and entitlement key with a Project machine API key.
- Your app enforces the result. Use
hasAccessalongside any personal-subscription rules your app owns.
Keep the machine key on your server. Assigning a seat does not create a user account; checking access does not authenticate a user or collect payment.
